Preclinical research primarily focuses on understanding somatotropic signaling, lipid mobilization, and systemic body composition changes mediated by pulsatile GH surges. While explored in early-phase human trials for gastrointestinal motility indications like postoperative ileus, clinical endpoints were not achieved, and the molecule remains strictly an investigational tool rather than an approved therapeutic agent.
